Warning!
There are two scripts in the ZIP:
- Script0107.dat This one is compatible with all the published TWH levels. Copy it to c:\Program Files\Core Design\Trle
and rename it as Script.dat The script will crash if TRWH1 (Escipion.tr4) is not installed.
- Script.dat If you only have installed levels 7, use this one. Copy it to c:\Program Files\Core Design\Trle
then you must choose "Civilisations Crossroad".
There is a Level/Script compatibility problem. I have discovered that modifying some Animations (like weapons animations)
can result in incompability to jumping to a level created with a non modified wad. In the TWH case it means that jump
from level TWH7 to TWH8 will not be possible, and TRLE will crash after TWH7 (note added after TWH8&9 release).I have
not find how Core Design fixed this issue and I have choose to keep the modified wads due to the hours that I have
expend changing the weapons and switch animations in TWH8&9 (1 hard week).
If you do not hear some sound probably that is due to the fact that you do not have installed the "patched wads" and its
sounds. You can find it at
http://www.eidosinteractive.com/downloads/search.html?gmid=103
or
ftp://ftp.eidos.com/pub/othermedia/tomb_raider_5/revised_wads0110.zip)
If you use your custom script its possible that you lose the name of the objects, the background music and the load
screen. If you decompile the script and you use the FlyCheat code, be aware that impossible/unexpected situations, like
reach some where before time, objects that do not work as supposed, ... I have work in some of them but ... Good look!
I have developed the level using the default colour settings of my graphic card (Desktop, Direct3D and Glide/OpenGL
settings R:1.30 G:1.30 B:1.30), and less some rooms that are intentioned dark, I am able to see fine rooms. If you see
too dark, may be you need to adjust the brightness, contrast or graphic card defaults.
Recognitions
Let me thanks to the creators of the Custom Tools that I have used to develop those two levels:
- Michael L. Jelarcic (TRWest v2.0).
- "Turbo Pascal" (StrPix).
- John Dodis (TBuilder v1.3.2)

Walkthrough

|
In front of the starting point there is a cave and a Glass Corridor hanging over. There is a grate under the corridor,
Lara must find the Revolver and LaserSight to shot against the grate. The LaserSight is under the
grate over the cave floor. There is a hall in the wall of this cave, following that path you must find the
Revolver and look the 1st Secret (1).
|
Now is the moment to get the 1st Secret, really it is a hard one. There is a Ledge next to the Glass Corridor
(2). In the far end (red arrow) there is an inaccessible second ledge
that is the entrance to the 1st Secret. To reach the top of the corridor you must perform some acrobatics: diagonal
running jump to the right slope with flip in the air (green arrow), engage a second jump and grab the Corridor top
(3). Now you can easily reach the top of the Corridor and pick-up the
Big MediPack (4). From here we can access the 1st Secret with a couple of
jumps (green and blue arrows) but you will need the 1st Pyramidal Key that is at the top of this cave. Follow the
red arrow path to get the key and came back to this point. To reach the 1st secret ledge perform a running jump to reach the triangular
slope below (green arrow), when Lara starts to slide jump and flip in the air (blue arrow). No you have the 1st Secret.
Use the Revolver and the LaserSight with the grate under the corridor. Lara can Monkeyswim using the floor of the
Corridor but need to find the way to the Ledge under the Corridor. Cross the big cave area and find the third cave.
Climb and jump over the Glass Corridor (5). The green arrows shows the
access and exit point to the top of the Glass Corridor; the red one the 2nd Pyramidal Key. Find the ledge under the
1st Glass Corridor and Monkeyswim, cross the broken grate and enter into the Base. Fight against some TRex Aliens and
find the Control Room (6). A Push button will open the to door that give
access to the cave, in the Control Room one there is a Blue Gem and in the Glass Corridor a 2nd Pyramidal Key.
The Gem will open a door outside, under the control room and gives access to an strange construction. In this room there
is a pushable blue box (7). After move it a set of blue lights
will show where to move the box. A couple of switches and raising -blocks will let you drive the box to the top of the
room. After place the box in its destination (8), the hole for the 2nd
Pyramidal key, that will open the 2nd Secret, will be accessible (9).
In the top of the room there is also a <1st Ruby. From this room or from the Control Room area you can access
into a room with several doors. One of the door is the entrance to a Lava Pit Room
(10).

From this room or from the Control Room area you can access into a room with several doors. One of the door is the
entrance to a Lava Pit Room. In the Lava Pit a couple of switches makes move climbable raising blocks. You can
also monkeyswim those surfaces. Notice a hole in the South wall (10), inside
there is a shotable switch. Lara must climb, monkeyswimn, jump and flip in the air in her way around the ceiling on the
room, till reach a ledge in the North wall of the room. From this place (11),
Lara can use the Revolver and LaserSight with the switch inside the South hole; this will open the access to the 2nd
Secret. In this ledge there is the 2nd Ruby piece and a switch that will open the climbable exit.
In this new room you will find a second kind of Aliens, he is friendly but you must kill him before he closes the door
because if not Lara will die (12). With the two Rubies you can came back to
the Control Room. Use the Rubies in the second floor and find the way out to this section of the base.
Near the Scorpions Pit (13) you will find a cave with 2 Snake Switches
(14). The 1st one opens the access to the outside zone, the 2nd one opens the
door for the 3rd one, this one controls the door to the pit. You must deal with the last switch to let the TRex Alien
access into the cave (15). If the Alien is killed you can get a 1st Rubi
Piece.
Neat this Scorpion's Pit there is a second cave with a Glass Corridor (16), over
the Corridor there is the 2nd Ruby Piece. Easily you will find another Hangar with a big Spatial Truck
(17). In the corridors there are two grates. The first one give access to a big
Lava Cave(18). In the Lava Cave you will find where to place the Ruby
Pieces, this will open a door at the top of the cave. Find the Trident and place it in the Statue to
open the trap door to access the top of the cave. Find the 2nd Gem and use the Rope in your way back.
A Snake Switch will close the floor traps and you will be able to return to the Truck cave.
The second grate give you access under the Control Room. You can now go investigate around the Truck, over the
